In the winter grey, old fiery breast just shouts to be taken.....and he was!!

You are right! That orange calls out for the lense. How big is this bird? It appears very delicate. I can't tell size not knowing how big the birch is. I enjoy seeing what the other side of "the pond" has to offer. What are your typical hawks?
